We arrived in New York and jumped right into training and transfer week.

After transfers a number of Senior Missionaries went out to lunch. The New York, New York City Mission has just shy of 60 Senior Missionaries. I was shocked, but they are all needed and serve in a variety of ways and in a number of different zones!

Our mission currently has eight Stakes: Brooklyn, Fairfield, Lynbrook, New York, New York YSA, Plainview, Westchester and Woodside. Our mission covers all Long Island, as well as The Bronx, Harlem, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Going north our mission covers Scarsdale, White Plains, Ossining, Yorktown, and into Stamford, Danbury, and Bridgeport, Connecticut. Interestingly, the island of Bermuda is also included in the New York City Mission.

The mission proselytes in 5 languages: English, American Sign Language, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin, and Haitian Creole.
