Don and I have been, it feels like, “drinking from a fire hydrant” for the past two weeks as we have been in training for our office duties. There is much to remember to keep the comings and goings of the mission on schedule and organized.

I believe we have experienced an increase of grace by our Savior Jesus Christ as He is truly making up for our lack. I am reminded of the scripture found in 2 Nephi 25:23 “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that we are saved, after all we can do.” Grace, I have discovered is not about what we can do; it’s about what He can do. Bruce G Hafen said this and it brings me comfort, “The Savior’s gift of grace to us is not necessarily limited in time to ‘after’ all we can do. We may receive his grace before, during and after the time when we expend our own efforts.”

The deepest desire of our hearts is to consecrate all that we have to the Lord, to serve Him, give to Him all our “heart, might, mind and strength” and know that He will support, strengthen and sustain us in our efforts. We continually watch for His hand in expanding our abilities.

Here is my invitation to you..if you have reached your limit, felt the heaviness of mortality and don’t see relief, take it to the Savior. Ask for His grace to strengthen you, lift you and sustain you. I know from experience, he will show up for you. Believe in Christ, watch for and see His hand in your life. Just reach out and ask for grace to come and remember this, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. Phil 4:13

Finally I got to the blog. Is there a way it could show up in the email? Kelli Jardine’s lesson this week comes from pres. Oaks’ talk where he quotes a lot of scriptures about what Jesus said. Kelli has amend us to think of people we know who fit the scripture. John 14:21–to me that is you. As well as the one about loving God with heart, soul, and mind. I miss you and Don. I need a few more laughs among other things.

So great to hear from you Becky! We miss you so much, but know you and Don are great missionaries!
I love your thoughts on the subject of Grace. I appreciate His Grace everyday and have felt it so much since my move to Spokane. You started my Sabbath Day perfectly. Thank you so much. May the Lord keep you in the hollow of His hands.
    🙏❤️
