President John has challenged all missionaries, and their families, to read and finish the Book of Mormon beginning October 1 – Jan 1, 92 days. He invited us to use a blue unmarked copy of the Book of Mormon. Mark it up!! Make it your road map!

We will be reading the Book of Mormon with the focus of finding and recognizing revelations. Looking for ways the Lord speaks to His children. We will read of men and women feeling impressions, being directed in journeys, hearing voices from the Spirit and angels, having dreams or visions, etc.. Also noting the times that revelation is absent from a person or group of people. Why can’t they hear the voice of the Lord?

As we read through this lens, the hope is that we will recognize how we Hear Him in our life and that we will Hear Him more clearly and more frequently as President Nelson invited us to do.

President Nelson has stated:

“In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”

“I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation….Choose to do the spiritual work required to enjoy the gift of the Holy Ghost and hear the voice of the Spirit more frequently and more clearly”
