Don and I feel so blessed and excited to be joining a powerful group of missionaries in New York City. We feel sure that it will be an exciting adventure and experience of a lifetime.

These “seasoned seniors” are going to Oregon, Jamaica, South Dakota, New York, Australia, London England, Columbia South America, San Diego California, Denver Colorado

Elder Rasband shared his thoughts in October 2023…

“Today I am speaking to the many seasoned seniors in the Church who could serve as missionaries⁠. The Lord needs you. We need you in New York and Chicago, Australia and Africa, Thailand and Mexico, and everywhere in between.

As the scripture says, “If ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work⁠.”^⁠ That work is all about the law of the harvest. We read in John, “Both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

A mission might be the greatest chapter in a couple’s life. A good title might be “My Lord Will Have Need of Me.”^⁠ You may be on unfamiliar ground; however, the power of the Spirit will make you feel right at home.”

I have to say, serving missions is a wonderful experience, and doing it with your best friend makes it the sweetest experience.

We know that our family will be blessed in countless ways as we consecrate our time and talents to the Lord, we trust Him and turn our life over to Him.
